Water allocation example results (for agricultural water)
These are results of the water allocation for the agricultural sector in the year 2010 under a uniform cost scenario. The table shows the relation of which water quality from which water region will be used in which region. Mostly, every region will use its own water sources. However, the water-poor Karama region will only use 22% of its "own" water resources, but will receive 40 % of its water from the Sheyk Husayn region in the north, and 38 % from the Mashare region, but only 19 % of its own surface water, and 3 % of treated wastewater. There will also be some cross-border water transfer between the Palestinian Tubas and Jericho regions in the West and the Jordanian Sheyk Husayn and Mashare region in the East.(!)
