Water reservoirs in the El Bayda area (north of Jericho) and water distribution channels (blue lines). In the west of the River Jordan, there are only IL-owned reservoirs (blue dots), mostly close to IL settlements ("colonies", blue dotted areas). In the east of the River Jordan, there is only one large reservoir, seen as a "water body" land use category (solid blue area). This is the now defunct Karama reservoir.
