The objective of the project is the introduction of an EO based change detection service into the existing processing chains of urban governments located in the Republic of Korea. In order to address the market properly the formation of an alliance between ARCS and the Korean based SaTReC is set up.
The technical work focuses on the application of an EO based change detection system for updating the urban information system of the city of Seoul, South Korea. The results will help the planning departments of the city administration to save time and resources in their currently applied processing chains. The wider objective of the project is to create an access to the Korean and Asian market. In order to adequately address the market the formation of an alliance with a Korean provider of EO data is set up. A detailed business plan on how to enter the market will - besides assessing the potential of the EO data - be prepared.
